Physiotherapist (Aged Care / Community) Ringwood / Croydon area. Permanent part time role, initially 2 or 3 days/week, with flexible hours and potential to increase hours and scope of work. We are looking for someone to join our team who is:• Kind, caring and empathetic• Professional and motivated with a positive attitude • A good communicator with people of varied ages and abilities• Able to work within a multidisciplinary team environment• Aged care experience preferable but not essential• New graduates also welcome Role includes:• Varied caseload including musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac and respiratory conditions. • Rehabilitation/re-enablement focus• Management of acute, sub-acute and chronic conditions • Our staff are always encouraged to take a ‘whole person’ view to ensure more personalised and appropriate treatments rather than a purely prescriptive approach (use your variety of clinical skills and develop new skills) • Personalised assessments and care plan development in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team• Personalised 1:1 exercise therapy and rehabilitation• Mobility assessments and equipment prescription• Falls prevention assessment and strategy implementation• Manual handling education in group and individualised settings for onsite staff• Potential community clinic opportunities and additional group exercise classes (both onsite, no additional travel required) We offer:• Ability to plan your own day whilst working in a team environment• Flexible working hours • No after hours or weekends required• One location- no travelling to multiple sites • Great pay• Support, training and mentorship with onsite full-time senior physiotherapist• Support for CPD• Fun, rewarding work environment• Onsite café• Close to shops Requirements• Full AHPRA registration • Insurance • Current police check (we can assist if required)
